Learner Response & Blog feedback

WWW: It’s great that your blog is set up and you have some work posted already. Your ‘Winter’ fruit bowl is superb – it shows real technical skill in Photoshop and captures the palette beautifully. We now need to make sure we match your technical skill on Photoshop with ensuring all homework, blog work and analytical tasks are fully completed.

EBI: Unfinished work. Your blog is missing some work, including most of the homework I have set so far. You have not posted the second part of Denotation and Connotation which was set for homework. You are also missing the Mise-en-scene Stranger Things work. Original tasks on the blog:

Denotation and Connotation: https://mediamacguffingcseyear1.blogspot.com/2024/09/denotation-and-connotation.html

Mise-en-scene Stranger Things: https://mediamacguffingcseyear1.blogspot.com/2024/09/media-language-mise-en-scene.html

The other area I would suggest working on is keeping an eye on your written English. Things like capital letters are important in written communication and getting them perfect in your blog is a great preparation for the later exams. Adding depth and detail to your answers will help too.

LR: Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.

Complete the missing/unfinished work.

Then, reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

WWW : Yes

EBI : Ok
