denotation = i can see a upset boy. Behind him seems to be a mud house. the writing in the picture says dig toilets not graves . Clearly, the water issue suggests that they seem unhealthy. I can also see a hut and a tree in the background. the boy is also wearing a blue pringles t shirt. In the top left corner of the image i can see that there is a brand called water aid .






connotation= The writing may suggest that that the boy is suffering from the issue of toilets and not being able to flush them. The image of the boy shows that he is feeling sad due to this issue.





analysis= the author thinks that we should donate money to this charity and hope they get toilets and they have a healthy life.
